Please, please answer! I bought netbook with free Office starter but I didn’t realise that it came with Office 2010 trial and Office Click to Run. I would like to remove Office 2010 trial and Office Click to Run but keep Office Starter. Is it possible?
My understanding is that after running CleanC2R I’ll have no Office at all. Right? Thanks

I'm not a techie. At all. So when this Click2Run error popped up on my machine I did all the usual searching to find solutions. Most of them were written in "techie", a language I don't speak. And frankly, it appeared if I made one wrong move my computer would be screwed.

Then I found your site. I followed your steps and it WORKED. Perfectly. I just wanted to say thanks for fixing my problem. And on behalf of all the other techno dorks like me, we're very grateful for the expertise of people like yourself and more importantly, your willingness to share it. My computer's happy and I'm elated that I can access the docs I need to get my work done. Blessings to you.

This is a very ugly story you told. It still doesn't look like that it has anything directly with C2R. You're welcome.

IT WORKED! I was having a problem with a PC. I uninstalled Office 2010 Starter (and C2R) because it was not working and I was just going to reinstall it. WRONG! I kept getting a message that said "verion has fewer then two or more than four components". It would not install. I Googled the message and got nowhere. So I started Googling various things and ended up on your site. I was not too hopeful but I decided to try your C2R removal tool anyway. Boy was I glad I did. It didn't ask me to reboot but I rebooted anyway. Then I ran the setup program and it installed! Thank you!

On my Windows XP system this uninstalled the entire MS Office suite, not just the click-to-run feature. Beware!
